Faithfulness

God is SO incredibly faithful!  He knows exactly what we need when we need it.  This morning I was really feeling devalued and someone at work came and really encouraged me.  Speaking life into people is what makes God feel alive in the daily life.  I know he’s always there, but when we speak his words into others I feel like his presence takes presidence!

Exodus 34:5-7
Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.

Psalm 34:5-7
Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.

Psalm 40:9-11
I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly;
       I do not seal my lips,
       as you know, O LORD.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
       I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.
       I do not conceal your love and your truth
       from the great assembly.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, O LORD;
       may your love and your truth always protect me.

Psalm 85:9-11
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
       that his glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
       righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
       and righteousness looks down from heaven.

Psalm 86:11-12
But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
       slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
Turn to me and have mercy on me;
       grant your strength to your servant
       and save the son of your maidservant.

Psalm 89:13-15
Your arm is endued with power;
       your hand is strong, your right hand exalted.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
       love and faithfulness go before you.

 15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,
       who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

Psalm 138:2-3
I will bow down toward your holy temple
       and will praise your name
       for your love and your faithfulness,
       for you have exalted above all things
       your name and your word.
When I called, you answered me;
       you made me bold and stouthearted.

Isaiah 25:1
O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
